In a new play by Holly Walter Kerby, Marie Curie (played by Samantha Cordio) and her husband, Pierre (played by Chris Babiarz) discover Radium. Despite living at a time when women were not permitted to vote, own property, or go out at night unescorted by a man, Marie Curie made significant scientific contributions from which we still benefit today.
