A skid row florist becomes rich and famous when he discovers an exotic plant that craves blood--the human kind. The plant grows into an ill-tempered R&B carnivore who offers the florist fame and fortune in exchange for feeding it. This fun spoof of 1950's sci-fi movies is one of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time.
