Hedwig & the Angry Inch

Text by John Cameron Mitchell, music and lyrics by Stephen Trask

Directed by Michael Bruno

The same creative team that brought you the Sweet-Cannoli Nuptials now presents John Cameron Mitchell's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the hippest pop-culture phenomenon since the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

John Cameron Mitchell's award-winning rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch tells the story of "internationally ignored song stylist" Hedwig Schmidt, a fourth-wall smashing East German rock-n-roll goddess, who also happens to be the victim of a botched sex change operation which has left her with "an angry inch."

The production, directed by Michael Bruno, Artistic Director for WhoopDeDoo Productions, Inc., with musical direction by Eric Lipton, features Greg Harris as Hedwig, Victor LeClair IV as Tommy Gnosis, both Jocelyn Ridgely and Jamie England appearing separately as Yitzhak and a live band. Director Michael Bruno says "We are delighted to be partnering with Club Majestic to produce this multi-media extravaganza for Madison audiences."

Produced by WhoopDeDoo Productions at Club Majestic, Madison's premier nightclub
