West Side Story

The book is by Arthur Laurents with a score by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephan Sondheim.

Directed by Katrina Williams, Music direction by Taras Narahirniak

West Side Story is a beautiful and energetic retelling of Romeo and Juliet set in and amongst New York's teen-age street gangs of the 1950s. The original production, directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, brillantly combined storytelling, song, classical music and dance to create a classic piece of American Musical Theatre.

Presented by Middleton Players Theatre, Inc., at Middleton High School Auditorium, with free parking on Bristol Street.
