Much Ado About Nothing
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Deirdre Bouzek
Shakespeare's classic tale of romance, mistaken identity, and the battle of sexes. The production is performed in the beautiful Veterans park in Stoughton Wisconsin. Set in the early 1930s, we have added gangsters and flappers, but the story is the same. Beatrice and Benedick fight their war of words; the evil Don Juan conspires to disrupt the wessing of Hero and Claudio; and it's up to Dogbery to save the day.
