Brundibár
By Hans Krasa and Adolf Hoffmeister
Conducted by Roland Johnson
Children and adults alike will shed a tear at this heartwarming tale of a boy and girl caring for their sick mother. Brundibár, the hurdy-gurdy man shows them no sympathy as they try to sing for coins. Animals, children and finally, the townspeople come to the children's aid.
Brundibár illustrates that love and justice will triumph.
