Based on the book Billy Liar, by Keith Waterhouse

Directed by Nancy Thurow

A theatrical import from Britain, Billy will make its US premiere in Madison. Billy is the story of a teenage boy whose day-dreaming and constant fibbing cause him endless problems, who mixes reality and dreams into hilarious fantasy of exhuberant song and dance. This musical comedy will delight anyone who has ever had big dreams &endash;and the trouble they inevitably bring. The show will feature Austin Powers-inspired period costumes from the late 60s and early 70s.
