Cyrano de Bergerac

By Edmond Rostand

Although Cyrano is an expert swordsman, an eloquent poet, and an extraordinary wit, he cannot believe that the beautiful Roxane would return his love because of his gigantic nose. Doomed to love from afar, Cyrano composes the poetry and recites the words that win Roxane's affection for the handsome but inarticulate Christian. Romance and swordplay support this magnificent love story played against the beautiful tapestry of 17th century France. With Lee E. Ernst as Cyrano.
