Over Our Head Players

Over Our Head Players is a non-profit organization of volunteer talent from throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. Founded in 1992, they operate the Sixth Street Theatre in Downtown Racine. OOHPs has a commitment to original theatre and is internationally known for their annual Snowdance 10 Minute Comedy Festival, which draws hundreds of entries. Snowdance finalists compete for the coveted “Best in Snow,” which is voted on by the audience. In addition to Snowdance, previous original works include “Camp Nelson” and sell-outs of “It’s a Wonderful Lifeboat”; “Original Ones: Ode to Garlic, Waiting for the WeinermobileTM, and Big Shoes”; “Still Haven’t Found...”; and “Real Remembrances of the War in Vietnam”.
