Thrasher Opera House
The Thrasher Opera House, built in 1910 by Charlie Thrasher, presented vaudeville, silent films, and traveling theatrical companies, and served as a community gathering place. The 200 seat venue was built with moveable seating so it could accommodate the needs of the community. Restored in 1997, the Thrasher presents a variety of musical and theater acts year round. Recent artists include Alison Brown, Richie Havens, John Jorgenson, Susan Werner, George Winston, Second City, and Missoula Children's Theatre.
