Sun Prairie West Performing Arts Center
The Sun Prairie West Performing Arts Center is an traditional proscenium-style performing arts center, built in 2022 by the Sun Prairie Area School District as part of the new Sun Prairie West High School.
The PAC hosts many school music and drama functions throughout the year, as well as numerous community events and outside rentals. Located in Sun Prairie, it is a quick 10 minutes away from Madison, 70 minutes from Milwaukee, 2 hours from Chicago and 4 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The space features it's own dedicated entrance, lighting, a state-of-the-art A/V system, a scene shop, dressing rooms, an orchestra pit with cover, box office, and a spectacular atrium-style lobby – all in a beautiful, acoustically wonderful space.

The stage house has a proscenium arch stage and a orchestra pit with cover.

The facility includes dressing rooms, scene shop, and a costume/prop shop.

Fly Space
The West PAC features a 24-line fly system with a full 60-foot fly loft. Ceiling of acoustical shell can be stored in fly loft while not in use.
Sound Equipment
The PAC includes a fully equipped control booth in the center of the audience, approximately 60’ from the stage. It has a 64-channel Yamaha CL5 soundboard, a custom Wenger Diva acoustic concert shell, and a nine-foot Steinway D concert grand piano.
Lighting Equipment
The PAC includes a fully equipped control booth with an ETC Ion xe 20 2K lightboard, which can be moved to FOH position with advance notice. ETC Tablet control is also available.
The PAC's house lights are on an ETC Paradigm house light system, controlled via light board as well as wall panels and SM control deck
Projection Booth Information
The West PAC has a projection booth and a full projection system. It features 3 Epson L1495U Projectors with custom lenses. One projects either onto a Draper 145006U 147''x236'' Recessed motorized projecton screen in the center of the proscenium opening, or onto the back of the Acoustical shell and the top of the proscenium opening trim.
The other two project onto Draper 101804L 100''x160'' Motorized projection screens hung on the house right and house left walls.

Seating Capacity
The PAC has a 791 seat house capacity.
There are 8-10 wheelchair locations in the orchestra.
There are also 10 lifting armrest seats in the orchestra.
