Description of Performance Area

The Arena at the Alliant Energy Center In Madison, Wisconsin is approximately 22,000 square feet and is just the right size for a multitude of events. This space suits as a smaller area for entertainment, staged performances, consumer shows, conferences, trade shows and banquets. With the variety of floor surfaces in the Arena including dirt, carpeting, concrete or ice, many different functions can be achieved. The Arena is an outstanding facility for horse shows as it retains a 85’ x 215’ show ring, 550 person grandstand seating, lobby, show office and a high-quality sound system and barn call system. The Arena also carries the ability to house an ice sheet capacity of 100’ x 200’. Located between Exhibition Hall and Veterans Memorial Coliseum and across from the Alliant Energy Center’s multi-building barn system, the Arena has the ability to accommodate various aspects of events with room for up to 104 trade show booths or a 1,000 person banquet. As always, the facility also includes access to the Alliant Energy Center’s full service catering, decorating, equipment rental and full turnkey services.
