By Studs Terkle, Score: Stephen Schwartz

Directed by Janet Balson

The story reflects the grievances, hopes and dreams of the unsung heros and heroines of the American work force Variously influenced by pop, rock, blues and country music the songs beautifully capture the "poetry of the everyday" and admirably honor the ability of the human spirit to transend even the most demeaning job. The cast size is from 9 - 25 actors, of varying ages and ethnicities.
