Violet: In Concert

Violet is the heartwarming story of a young girl with a disfiguring scar on her face. Full of aspirations to be beautiful, she embarks on a journey to visit a renowned televangelist who she believes can heal her. Along the way, she makes two unlikely friends and discovers the strength of her inner beauty. This lesser known musical, presented in concert form, is the inaugural concert in Music Theatre of Madison's concert series, which brings lesser known musicals to Madison each summer.

MTM is still seeking the following for "Violet":
FATHER: 30s to 40s. Baritone with strong falsetto.
Ensemble men: Two or three men to play a variety of roles throughout the show, including a preacher, southern "hicks", bus drivers, and other interesting people Violet meets on her journey. One of these men
