Violet: In Concert

Music by Jeanine Tesori, Lyrics by Brian Crawley

Directed by Dennis Yadon

Violet is the heartwarming story of a young girl with a disfiguring scar on her face. Full of aspirations to be beautiful, she embarks on a journey to visit a renowned televangelist who she believes can heal her. Along the way, she makes two unlikely friends and discovers the strength of her inner beauty. This lesser known musical, presented in concert form, is the inaugural concert in Music Theatre of Madison's concert series, which brings lesser known musicals to Madison each summer.
