Urinetown: The Musical

After their award-winning production of Xanadu last fall, the Theatre and Music Departments will present a terrific musical with a terrible title, Urinetown: The Musical!

In a Gotham-like city, a horrible water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

If you are a ticket holder for the original dates just show up with tickets in hand or on a device and pick a seat. If you are unable to attend on the 12th or 13th you are entitled to a refund and may request one by sending an email with the order # to hstheatre@verona.k12.wi.us. Or, if you can't attend but still want to support our program, we ask that you strongly consider donating your tickets back to the program if you are willing to do so.
