TRUE WEST is a genuine American classic that audiences have revered for the last 30 years. Sibling rivalry is tested to the max, when Lee, loud, dominant and intimidating, invades Austin’s “get-away”—their mother’s home—while he is attempting to finish a screenplay for a slick Hollywood producer. When Lee charms the producer into developing a new story, the relationship between the two begins to self destruct under the pressure of bravado, competition and lots of drinking.

Actors will read from the script. Call backs will include a brief interview and reading from the script.
Must be available August 16th –September 25th.

Please arrive promptly at 7pm, and give yourself a maximum of two hours for the audition. Actors will be released at the discretion of the director.
