The Jungle Book

Join us a for a wild adventure in the jungle as Mogli, a young boy raised by wolves, learns to survive outside of the pack. With the help of his blustering best friend Baloo the Bear, the wise Panther Bageera, and the Elephant leader Colonel Hathi, Mogli gets many lessons in survival. Pursued by the fierce tiger Sheer Kahn, the sneaky snake Kaa, and a barrel of Monkeys, Mogli has to fight to make it to the Man Village. Will he make it in time? Based on the book by Rudyard Kipling, this adaptation with puppetry, music, dancing and hilarity, including roles for boys and girls of all ages and talents, is one you won't want to miss!
Ticket purchase is not required for this performance. Family and friends are encouraged to come and enjoy all the hard work our actors have done to put on a great show!
Donations will be gladly accepted, with 100% of proceeds matched by First Act and put toward our scholarship fund!
From novice to seasoned actor, our after-school program offers a well-rounded approach to children's theatre. Audition skills are introduced and refined. Creative movement, vocal control, memory, cooperation and more are fostered through weekly theatre games. Participants develop and create sets and props during their downtime from rehearsal. And of course, all the fun culminates in a fully-costumed performance where they can't wait to show off all they've learned!
Enrollment is open to anyone in grades 1-8 (not just for UADC students!)
