The Desk Set
By William Marchant
Directed by Angela Iannone
Office hilarity reaches new levels as a major television network is turned upside down when an "efficiency expert" recommends installing the newest labor saving device, the "Emmirac." These "electronic brains" are no match for the head of the Research department, Bunny Watson, a woman with encyclopedic knowledge and quick wit. Defending her department from layoffs and cutbacks, Bunny takes on both the machine and the "expert." Mix in a wild Christmas party, office romance, snappy dialogue and you have this delightful holiday entertainment! Bring family and friends to see this sparkling comedy, The Desk Set!
