The Bachelors
By Rick Kinnebrew & Martha Meyer
Directed by Andrew J. Lonsdale
Based on a true story, The Bachelors introduces us to Bob Neal, a London interior decorator who returns to his failing Wisconsin hometown of Mineral Point in 1934 and hires a local man, Edgar Hellum, to help him restore a historic rock cottage.
It’s a humorous and touching look at a life two men spend together in a small town. Their restoration anchors the Mineral Point Historical Society and what has become a thriving artistic community still today.
