Hair

The American Tribal Love Rock Musical
Music by Galt McDermot
Lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado

HAIR, the story of a soul searching draftee and his rebellious friends, addresses the issues of sexuality, racism, drug use, violence and war as seen through the eyes of a tribe of hippies. Still relevant after almost forty years, Hair introduced the sixties counterculture to Broadway and brought America some of the most influential music of it's time, including "Aquarius", "Good Morning Starshine" and "Let the Sun Shine In."
