Queer Shorts: Unity

Directed by Various

StageQ is proud to announce our 13th Annual Queer Shorts play festival! This year’s theme is “Unity.” During such tumultuous times in our nation and the world at large, and especially within the LGBTQ+ community, this year’s Queer Shorts seeks to bring the diverse rainbow of our community together with stories that inspire us and unite us as a common people with common values.

Queer Shorts brings together anywhere from 8 to a dozen short plays written by both local and nation-wide writers and just as many directors to put on a fun evening of wide-ranging theatre all centered around one main topic.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

4/2/2018
4/3/2018

We are looking for actors to help bring our short plays to life! Auditions will be held on Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3 at the Bartell Theatre at 6pm.

Actors will be asked to read provided sides to our various directors. No resumes or headshots required. We are also looking to cast several youth actors this year. So, actors of all ages, seasoned and new are encouraged to come and join our Queer Shorts family and be part of a StageQ tradition!
