Playwrights Ink staged readings

By five Wisconsin playwrights

Six original short comedies and dramas: "In a Nice Restaurant" by Alan Gold, "Lifting Mists" by David Berger, "Watch Dog" by George Farah, "Fungal Love" by George Farah, "Perpetual Care" by Betty Diamond, and "Gun Play" by Kurt Brown. A staged reading is a presentation of a play that is complete but not yet in its final form. There is some blocking and props, but the actors work from scripts. Rather than a full theatrical performance, it is an opportunity for the playwright to solicit feedback that helps guide the development of the play.

Produced by Playwrights Ink at TAPIT/new works, 1957 Winnebago Street, Madison

Performances: July 29, 2006

Performance Times: 7:30 p.m.
