Meredith is a widow who works a thankless job in the sinking publishing industry to support her two kids in college and her mother with dementia. The boss just hired a rainmaker who is likely to lay her off. Is the new guy attractive? Yes, dammit. Is this a comedy? Of course! Also features dancers, crime, and ugly flowers.
