Nunsense
By Dan Goggin
Directed by Brandon Byng
NUNSENSE begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters. In dire need of funds for the burials, the sisters decide to raise the money by putting on a variety show. So the sisters take over Mt. Saint Helen's school auditorium, which is currently set up for the school's production of "Grease". Come meet Reverend Mother Mary Regina; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia. Featuring star turns, tap dancing and ballet, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has delighted audiences with more than 5,000 productions worldwide and has been translated into 21 languages.
