Newsies

Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right! Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.

For teen performers in Grades 9 - 12.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

December 15th Dance Audition 11:30am - 5:00pm - This dance audition is required for any teens interested in playing a lead/dancing Newsie. You may do Jazz, Tap or Both. This dance audition is not required for a teen who is not interested in a lead or a dancing Newsie role.

December 16th Vocal Audition 11:00am - 6:00pm - We will start with vocal auditions, then perform the dance audition that was learned on the 15th, and then we will have callbacks.
