A takeoff on American Idol featuring all show tunes. All singers ages 15 and up may enter the competition and compete for great prizes! Audiences will vote for the Music Theatre Idol.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Singer registration begins at 6:00pm. All singers who wish to participate will sing a musical theatre song of their choice a capella. The judges will narrow the singers down to the top ten. The top ten will begin performing at 8:00pm. The audience will vote for their top three favorites. The top three will sing a final time, and the audience will then vote for the winner.

Singers who make it to the finals will select their songs from a pre selected list of material, available on musictheatreofmadison.com. Singers may not bring accompanists or tapes of their own.

All singers will receive a participation prize. Additional prizes will be provided to the top three, with a grand prize given to the winner.
