Motherhood is not easy. It can be gross, thankless, depressing, dirty, and beautiful. “Motherhood Out Loud” takes the audience on the journey of different parents’ experiences with parenthood and its ups and downs. Twenty Monologues and Short Scenes written by fifteen contributing writers comprise this evening of stories, some funny, some touching, all meaningful and enjoyable.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Auditions will be held at Alley Stage, 18 Shake Rag Street, Mineral Point, WI (weather permitting) Friday, April 25 6pm-9pm and Saturday, April 26 9am-12pm. Should weather not cooperate auditions will be held in the Gundry Room at Gray Dog Deli in Mineral Point, 215 High Street, same times. Please check Facebook for any changes in location.

Actors will be asked to read from script. Cast size is currently flexible. There are roles for at least 1 man and 4 women, with doubling. We hope to cast more individuals with less doubling. Majority of rehearsals will be minimal and flexible.
