Georges and Albin are partners of 20 years who happen to own the most successful drag club on the French Riviera, "La Cage Aux Folles", where Albin is the star. Things get complicated when their son, Jean-Michel, announces he is marrying the daughter of a conservative politician. This calls Albin's role in Jean-Michel's life into question. Albin's solution is hysterical, touching, and ultimately a beautiful testament to love of all types.
