How Quaint the Ways of Paradox

On Friday, February 10th at 7:30 p.m. the Madison Savoyards will present “How Quaint the Ways of Paradox”, their eighth annual winter concert for lovers of Gilbert & Sullivan works, in the Landmark Auditorium of the First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive. Tickets are $15 at the door. Great voices from past shows will present pieces from many different G&S operettas illustrating the duo's wry sense of humor. Music director Terry Kiss Frank will also lead the audience in choruses from several works. There will be fellow enthusiasts, punch and cookies at the interval, DVDs and T-shirts for purchase, some excerpts from last summer's production of "Utopia, Ltd", and news about the group's upcoming summer show, "The Pirates of Penzance".
