Set in New York City at the turn of the century, HELLO, DOLLY is the story of Dolly Levi, America's most beloved matchmaker. The show sparkles with memorable songs and shines with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage.

Join us for the story of Dolly Levi, America's most beloved matchmaker. The show sparkles with memorable songs and shines with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage. Full of period costumes, large sets and production numbers and a large cast this is an excellent show for both the seasoned performer and the newcomer to the theatre with many leads, supporting roles and a large singing/dancing chorus.

AUDITIONS: Those interested in a lead role should prepare a 1 minute cutting from any Broadway musical. Please bring your music- an accompanist will be provided. Those interested in the chorus can bring in a prepared piece or wil sing a familair song from the show. You may be asked to read from the script. There will be a brief dance audition- please dress comfortably for movement.
ROLES: Singing/dancing/speaking lead roles for 6 adult males and 5 adult females ages college and up. Large singing/dancing chorus with many smaller speaking parts and featured roles for 12 males and 12 females ages high school to adult.
REHEARSALS: Generally 3-4 nights per week from 7pm-9:30pm from February 7 through April 3. There will be some weekend dance rehearsals.
PERFORMANCES: 4 public performances April 4, 5, 6, 7 at The State Theatre.
