Guys on Ice
By Book & Lyrics - Fred Alley; Music - James Kaplan
Directed by Michael Chase
Guys on Ice spends a day in the life of Marvin and Lloyd. Set in an ice-fishing shanty, Lloyd and Marvin keep warm with a mutual appreciation for good bait, cold beer and the Packers. Marvin is anxiously awaiting his opportunity to appear on a TV show, and Lloyd wonders how he can muster the courage to ask the clerk at the grocery store out on a date. Eddie, the Moocher, invades their space, searching for his beloved Leinenkugel beer. With musical numbers like, "The Wishing Hole," "Ode to a Snowmobile Suit," "Fish is the Miracle Food" and "The One That Got Away," Guys on Ice promises to let you enjoy the wonders of the sport without having to freeze your toes.
