You’ll love this lively adventure into the realm of the Gingerbread Clinic where fairy tale creatures like a leprechaun, Jack-Be-Nimble, and the Big Bad Wolf arrive seeking help and creating mayhem. You never know what a day will bring at The Gingerbread Clinic.

Admit it, you’re just a big kid at heart. Announcing auditions for the Gingerbread Clinic, a delightful new fairy tale production, exclusive to BDACT. Imagine the fun in bringing characters like a Leprechaun, elf, fairy, knight, or princess, to life. During the audition you’ll be reading multiple characters from the script, giving you the opportunity to test out a variety of characters and voices. Wear comfortable clothes and expect to have a great time.

ADAM – Male Monster, Victor’s Son – Polite. Kind. Mild mannered.

ALI BABA – Male Thief – Boisterous and Proud

AURORA – Female Princess – Kind. Polite. Narcolepsy

BRANDY – Female Receptionist – Outspoken. Blunt. Hint of vulnerability.

DR. SABEENAH – Female Elf Doctor – Always composed and calm. Occasional displays of emotion

FELIX – Male Canadian Moon Man – Patient Nice. Canadian Accent.

FINNEGAN – Male Leprechaun – Jovial, always smiling.

FLANAGAN – Male Leprechaun – Jovial. Always smiling.

FLORIAN – Male Prince – Anxious. Irritated. Has a tedious past with Brandy

GAWAIN – Male Knight, Courier of Excalibur – Chivalrous.

HERMAN – Male Courier/Demigod – Brandys love interest Confident. Happy. Agreeable

JACK-BE-NIMBLE – Male Pirate – Arrr! He’s a pirate.

JACOB – Male Medical Tech – Cautious with his Feelings and who he trusts. Problems with commitment. Loves fantasy. Knowledgeable of Fairy Tales.

MORGANA – Female Fairy – Blunt. Abrupt. Speaks with no fear of consequences because she’s in charge, and has pent-up sadness, and trauma from a mystery source.

MOTHER WOLF O.S. Female – Wife of Big Bad Wolf – Agitated and Concerned

WOLF – Male Big Bad Wolf – Serious, but likes to use his seriousness to make jokes.

RENEE – Female Manager of GBC – Always concerned nobody’s feelings are hurt. Speaks in a cautious tone. Sometimes is motherly to Brandy when she gets out of hand

SOPHIE – Female Assistant to Morgana – Extremely Smart. Practical. Loves poetry.

TORTOISE – Male or Female – Happy. Positive. Speaks slowly

VICTOR – Male – Doctor – Cautious. Anxious.

WORD FAIRY – Male or Female Fairy of Words – Frustrated, but patient
