ECCT PRESENTS „FOOTLOOSE‰ Eau Claire, WI ˆ The Eau Claire Children‚s Theatre will present FOOTLOOSE October 20-23, at the State Theatre in downtown Eau Claire. When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, Ren is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period. What he isn‚t prepared for are the stringent local rules, which include a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher. Set to the rockin‚ rhythm of its Oscar- and Tony-nominated Top 40 score and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind. Performances are scheduled for Thursday, October 20 ˆ Saturday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 22 ˆ Sunday, October 23, at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors, $12 for students, and $8 for youth ages 12 and under.
