Please join us for a night of amazing music and entertainment as Johnny Rodgers Band plays in support of Capital City Theatre's 2014-2015 fundraising season.

Johnny Rodgers is an internationally-celebrated singer-songwriter, pianist, Broadway star, and recording artist who is described by Stephen Holden, from THE NEW YORK TIMES, as an entertainer “that can’t be found anywhere else” with “fused elements of Billy Joel, Peter Allen and Johnny Mercer.”
Johnny dazzles audiences with his enthusiastic mixture of Americana, using his original songs like “Home To Mendocino”, and favorites made popular by the likes of Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, and Elvis.

Liza Minnelli recognized Johnny’s talent taking him on her world tour and then as featured singer, dancer, pianist, and songwriter in the Tony Award-winning Liza’s At The Palace, which now appears on PBS television. Johnny co-wrote the featured song “I Would Never Leave You” and is included on the show’s DVD release as well as the Grammy-nominated CD.
