Annie

Based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin

Directed by Brooke Hauser, Music Director: Gail Becker Koppa, Choreographer: Nancy Walsh-Boeder

One of the world's best-loved musicals, "Annie" is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Auditions

Auditions will be held on the following days:

8/14/2011
8/15/2011
8/16/2011

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Annie with the Stoughton Village Players!

Auditions will be held at the Stoughton Village Players Theater, 255 E. Main St., Stoughton. The marquee reads "Annie Audition". Next to Fosdals' Bakery, across from Post Office. NOT the Opera House in the clock tower building. (We get mistaken often!) Thanks!

At this time we would like you to sign up for a one-hour audition block.  In that slot each performer will be asked to sing their chosen audition piece (alone).  Then you, along with the other performers in that time slot, will learn a dance sequence which will be performed in small groups at the end of the hour.  We hope this will make for a fun and efficient audition experience.  We're excited to see what you have to offer!
