APT's Up-the-Hill Amphitheater

American Players Theatre's amphitheater up the Hill is located on 110 acres of hilly woods and meadows above the Wisconsin River, 40 miles west of Madison. The APT amphitheater is built within a natural hollow atop an oak-wooded hill. Under the dome of sky, 1148 comfortably cushioned seats encompass three sides of the stage. Each year, five plays are performed in rotating repertory from June through October.
