Goodnight Irene

By James Kaplan and Fred Alley

Directed by Patricia Boyette

The magical sound of The Weavers, America's favorite grass-roots singing group from the 60s, comes to the Hemsley Theatre in UT's production of Goodnight Irene. Filled with humor and rich harmonies, Goodnight Irene celebrates The Weavers' folk music, including such classic songs as "Kisses Sweeter than Wine," "Wimoweh," "If I Had a Hammer," and "When the Saints Go Marching In."
