Who Am I Kidding?

Odes to Shopping, Healing & Political Pasta

By Jodi Cohen

Directed by Jody Reiss

In her original one-woman show, Jodi Cohen uses improvisation, music, movement and language, to explore such topics as the challenges of gay teens, caring for the terminally ill, new refugees arriving in this country, shopping as metaphor and honoring ourselves in the midst of our busy, pasta-filled lives.

Who Am I Kidding? is Cohen's third one-woman show in Madison. While most of the show is scripted, there are also improvisational segments, allowing each performance to invent itself according to each audience.

Produced by GoodEnuf Productions at Bartell Theatre, 113 E. Mifflin St, Madison, WI.

Where else can you witness social and political macaroni sculpture in progress, pre-decoupage?

Who else could tell you about her latest crisis wearing a retainer and fuzzy lime green M&M slippers?

When else do you go out for an evening of theater and have the opportunity to share your ideas, questions, get a psychic reading and join a singalong?

The answer to all three questions: Jodi Cohen's one-woman show:

Who Am I Kidding? Odes to Shopping, Healing & Political Pasta

Through improvisation, music, movement and language, Cohen uses irreverent humor and playful storytelling to explore such topics as the challenges of gay teens, caring for the terminally ill, shopping as metaphor and honoring ourselves in the midst of our busy, pasta-filled lives.
