Stoughton Nutcracker Ballet

Directed by Coleen Kehl Barraza

Classical Ballet tells story of Clara and her magical Uncle Drosselmeyer who brings a Nutcracker to a Christmas Eve party. The party has ended, Clara falls asleep on the sofa dreams of mice stealing the presents. A battle ensues between the mice and soldiers. The Nutcracker comes to life defending the frightened Clara. The two are summoned by the Snow Queen to the Land of Snow and Sweets. Christmas Angels tell the Sugar Plum of Clara's arrival. Clara is entertained by dancing dolls from all parts of the world.

Auditions

Auditions will be held August 29th OR August 31st

Dancers must be presently enrolled in ballet/pointe classes at a studio of their choice. Adult parts require very little dancing and you need not be in dance classes in order to audition.
