The Young Person's Playwriting Project

A “holiday” themed show created by project participants in sessions over the summer. Developed from discussions including, “What is a Play,” “The Art of Playwriting,” and using techniques of improvisation, free association, and research, this will be a great experience brought by new upcoming talent. These shorter plays will be based on an adaptation of stories such as A Christmas Carol or Gift of the Magi, and shows based on cultural traditions. The participants will determine what is created, and how the plays will be performed.
