PlayTime Productions presents its own version of the classic Kenneth Grahame tale about a youngster who befriends a peace-loving dragon as a famed dragon slayer arrives to rid the area of this so-called menace. Through camaraderie and diplomacy people come to accept the amiable Reluctant Dragon. Family audiences of all ages will fondly view the friendship created between a prudent youngster and a not so ferocious beast as the two adventure through interesting social encounters enlivened by PlayTime’s drama, song and dance.

Auditions will be held on the following days:
2/8/2012Playtime Productions will hold spring play auditions for an original musical production of “The Reluctant Dragon” on Wednesday, February 8 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. in the Forum Room at the Monona Public Library. Playtime Productions is an educational theater experience for kids in grades 3-12. There is no audition fee. Please plan to attend the entire audition timeslot. There will be about 16 performances ending in mid-May.
