RACINE, WI—December 21, 2011—Auditions will be held at the Racine Theatre Guild on January 9 and 10 for “The Curious In the play, Ethel Savage’s late husband has left her ten million dollars. She feels it would be best used to help people realize their dreams. Her greedy adult stepchildren want to get their hands on the money, however, and have Ethel committed to a “sanatorium.” They expect to scare her and bring her to her senses. Instead, she’s inspired by the inmates, who are exactly the sort of people she’d like to assist. Together they foil the greedy Savage siblings by leading each of them on a merry wild goose chase.
