DOUGLAS PANCH: Vice Principal and the guy who reads the words for the bee. Delivers plenty of dry humor. This is a large role where Improv skills are a plus.

The following PRIMARY ROLES all need to be strong singers with moderate dancing skills.

CHIP TOLENTINO: Last year’s champion, an athlete, and a boy scout, but puberty has hit. Tenor
LOGAINNE SCHWARTZANDGRUBENNIERE: Very worldly aware for her young age, but socially and physically awkward. Raised by two dads. Soprano
LEAF CONEYBEAR: Laid back underachiever from a large, hippy family. Goes into a brief trance whenever he spells a word. Baritone/Tenor
WILLIAM BARFEE (and that’s bar-FAY): Plagued by many health issues, he spells his words out first with his magic foot. Tenor

OLIVE OSTROWVSKY: A quiet, only child of often absent parents, whose best friend is the dictionary. Strong belting soprano
