Stuck

By Neil Haven

Directed by TBA

A modern-day screwball comedy introduces us to Ella, an unforgettably charming elevator operator in a historic Milwaukee hotel, whose agoraphobia (fear of crowds and open places) has her sequestered to life in the elevator, living vicariously through her passengers. She befriends Ian, a handsome traveling business man, who is also 'stuck' in his own life's confines. When the antics of his suspicious wife leave Ian's reputation on the line, can Ella help clear his name?

Synopsis for Harris Cashes Out by Londos D’Arrigo (October 31 – November 9, 2014):
Forty years ago, Harris Wellborn wrote an off-Broadway musical which infamously closed after just one performance. We find the now-elderly tunesmith down on his luck, living in a run-down apartment building dependent on the charity of his domineering sister- yet still dreaming of making it on Broadway. The laughs unfold when the witty Harris is thrown together with the flaky young woman and her scheming boyfriend, who live down the hall. Thanks to the magic of the internet, Wellborn’s life takes a hilarious and unexpected turn when his neighbors come up with a devious plan to cash in on Harris’ past.

Auditioning for the following characters:
• Maggie – (female, 60s) Harris’ no-nonsense, “take charge” sister who takes it upon herself to watch out for Harris’ well-being.
• Kim - (female, early 20s) Dog-walker, hired by Maggie, to help “watch out for” and take care of Harris. She is sweet, naïve, not too bright and has a unique and odd sense of fashion (according to Harris).
• Jason – (male, mid-20s) Maggie’s street-smart boyfriend, whose ingenuity and misplaced sense of conscience, have an unexpected result.

Synopsis for Escanaba in da Moonlight by Jeff Daniels (March 13 - 22, 2015):
When the Soady clan reunites for the opening day of deer season at the family's camp in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, thirty-five-year-old Reuben Soady brings with him the infamous reputation of being the oldest Soady in the history of the Soadys never to bag a buck. In a hunting story to beat all hunting stories, Escanaba in da Moonlight spins a hilarious tale of humor, horror and heart as Reuben goes to any and all lengths to remove himself from the wrong end of the family record book.

• Wolf Moon Dance Soady- (female, 30s) Bit part. Wife of Reuben. A Native American who uses her culture’s rituals to try to help her husband get his buck.
