La Crosse Community Theatre is holding auditions for its Theatre for Youth production of Sideways Stories at Wayside School on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Weber Center for the Performing Arts, 428 Front Street South, La Crosse, WI.

Actors ages 8 to 17 are invited to audition, regardless of experience. Scheduled auditions are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Visit www.lacrossecommunitytheatre.org for more information or call 784-9292 to sign up to audition!

The audition for this production will ask youth to participate in theatre games and improv activities and demonstrate their ability to speak before a crowd. There will be no readings or any other preparation required. The cast list will be announced at noon on Friday, May 1. Rehearsals will begin May 4. The rehearsal schedule will be determined upon casting, but tentatively will be 4 to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Performances will be in Weber Center's Lyche Theatre June 12-21, 2015, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Anyone not cast (or who is otherwise interested) is invited to help in some other way.
