Real Life

By KelsyAnne Schoenhaar

Directed by Moritz Burnard, Cara E. Peterson, KelsyAnne Schoenhaar

Real Life premiered at Madison's Bartell Theatre in November 2004 and was revived again in April 2005. Both times it played to sold-out houses and received rave reviews. Focusing on high-functioning autism and Asperger's syndrome, Real Life follows the lives of four individuals with this disability. The audience is drawn into the perceptions of these characters, what it takes to live, succeed, and adapt in our world.
