Opening Doors: A Benefit Revue Show

Directed by Analiese Bradshaw

“Opening Doors” is a benefit revue concert featuring performers of all ages. All proceeds from the show will go to Building Leaders Using Music Education in Haiti, or BLUME Haiti. BLUME Haiti is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization based in Appleton, WI that seeks to use music as a tool to change the life trajectory of Haiti’s children, helping them transform themselves and their communities. Their mission is to strengthen both established and emerging music programs throughout the country to help restore purpose in the lives of young Haitians, to develop their leadership skills, and to create an environment where they feel safe and challenged.

“Opening Doors” is directed and organized by Analiese Bradshaw, a junior at St. Francis Xavier High School in Appleton, WI. The show is dedicated to thanking those who are leaders in music education and inspire young musicians every day. “Opening Doors” will feature musical performances by high school students, as well as seasoned adult performers and teachers from across the Fox Valley area. The show will also feature talented musicians from Haiti who have been able to grow in their musical skills because of BLUME Haiti’s work and support. Throughout the show, various teachers and students will also be giving testimonials on how music education has changed and impacted their life immensely. The show’s performances vary from musical theatre, instrumental music groups, contemporary bands, and classical vocal stylings. Come support a great cause while thanking music educators in the area AND listening to some fantastic musicians!
