"McBeth" is a contemporization of the Shakespeare play by Broom Street Artistic Director Callen Harty. The play is set in the modern kingdom of a corporate boardroom and corporate culture. Much of the language has been contemporized while keeping the original rhythm and meaning. Where Shakespeare’s words still make sense to a 21st century audience they were left the same. The production will be directed by Greg Johnson.
Auditions will be held on the following dates: Monday, September 28 and Wednesday, September 30, as well as Monday and Tuesday, October 5 & 6. All auditions will be at 7pm at Broom Street Theater.The production dates are every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 13 through December 20.
