Lord of the Flies

By William Golding

CTM brings this acclaimed novel to the stage in a wildly energetic and riveting production. The play reveals the powerful story of upper middle-class schoolboys whose plane crashes on an uninhabited island, leaving no adult survivors. Struggling to come to terms with the lack of usual rule and order, games and teasing turn into bullying and tragedy. The play leads us to think about the nature of hierarchy, leadership, human survival and morality.
