Little Women

By Mark Adamo

Directed by Andrew Abrams

Little Women is a contemporary American opera based on the classic American story by Louisa May Alcott. Set in post Civil War America, it details the relationship of the four sisters of the March family, Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth.

They are introduced as a tightly knit quartet of young women dominated by Jo, and through her eyes the family changes as life intrudes to separate them; "Things change, Jo."

A fabulous score by composer Mark Adamo is brought to life by young professional musicians from Wisconsin and the Midwest.

Performed with solo piano.
